Eden Prairie Woods

This 53 lot single family development in Eden Prairie overlooks the DNR protected Riley Creek. Extensive stormwater modeling allowed for the extension of Prospect Road over the creek with an 8’ x 10’ box culvert without adversely impacting the floodplain elevation. Due to the extremely sandy soils and the potential for slope erosion, the site was designed to retain the runoff from the 100-year rainfall event. Infiltration basins are located around the site to provide volume reduction and recharge the natural seeps and springs that feed Riley Creek.
