The Shops at West End

Sambatek provided engineering, landscape architecture, planning, and survey services for the Shops at West End, a mixed-use retail and office development located just outside of downtown Minneapolis.

The development is a compact, class “A” urban office and lifestyle center with 375,000 square feet of retail and 33,000 square feet of office space. Features include a unique movie theater, gourmet grocery, fashion boutiques, and fine dining. The overall design philosophy for The Shops at West End was to create a timeless, “urban edge” center that brings new energy to this area of the city.

Sambatek provided excellent project management, creative thinking, sound engineering, and accurate surveying for the complex West End site. The Shops at West End has been in service for over three years and we have yet to find anything we would change. The green roof design, added after project completion, has exceeded expectations and is a valuable amenity to the second level office space."
