Sambatek is proud to have provided civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture services for the transformation of the former Offices at Marsh Run into the new Vale Apartments, a 197-unit multifamily community located at 11816 Wayzata Boulevard in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
Project Overview
Developed, designed, and constructed by Doran Companies, Vale Apartments offers a variety of unit sizes, from cozy alcoves to spacious three-bedroom homes, designed with Nordic-inspired architecture and the concept of hygge in mind, creating a warm and connected community.
The property features a unique walking trail surrounding a scenic wetland and pond, complementing its modern amenities including:
- Fitness center & co-working spaces
- On-site dog park & amenity deck
- Entertainment suite & clubroom with a hidden theater room
Sambatek’s Role
As part of this redevelopment, Sambatek delivered:
- Civil Engineering Services to support site design and infrastructure improvements.
- Surveying Services for existing conditions, site prep, and construction.
- Landscape Architecture to create outdoor spaces that enhance resident experience and integrate seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment.
Community Impact
This project not only adds much-needed housing options to Minnetonka but also includes affordable housing units supported by Tax Increment Financing (TIF) from the City of Minnetonka. Vale Apartments officially opened its doors in July 2025, with property management by Whitecap Management, Doran’s in-house team. Sambatek is honored to have contributed to this vibrant, community-focused redevelopment.
