Land development or public improvement projects often encounter work within floodplains that are managed at the city, state, or federal level. Sambatek provides floodplain analysis and permitting services to provide solutions to our clients when their project impacts existing floodplains.

Our services include reviewing FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) and determining if a project may require a flood map revision. If a revision is required, Sambatek has experienced professionals knowledgeable in processing Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), Letter of Map Amendments (LOMA or LOMR-Fs), or Letter of Map Change (LOMC). 

Flood Map revisions require working with FEMA, a federal government agency. This permitting process can be complicated and time-consuming. Sambatek has the experience and knowledge to identify these concerns early and assist our clients with permitting their projects successfully.
