Each year, Engineers Week (EWeek) brings together engineers, students, and communities across the country to celebrate the impact engineering has on our everyday lives. Founded by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) in 1951, Engineers Week, taking place February 22–28, 2026, is more than a moment of recognition. It’s an opportunity to inspire future innovators, highlight the meaningful work happening across our industry, and strengthen connections within the engineering community.
Through collaboration with DiscoverE and a network of engineering, education, and cultural organizations, Engineers Week shines a spotlight on the professionals who design, build, and improve the world around us. From infrastructure and water systems to community planning and environmental solutions, engineering plays a vital role in shaping stronger, more connected communities.
