This honor celebrates exceptional achievements in design, construction, and collaboration that shape Minnesota’s communities. Sambatek is excited to have contributed our engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture expertise to this milestone development.
Delivered in August 2024, Juniper Apartments represents Minnetrista’s first multifamily development, a 262,349-square-foot community that redefines modern living. With 148 units ranging from alcoves to one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments (plus options with dens), Juniper offers thoughtfully designed spaces for every lifestyle. Residents also enjoy a suite of amenities, including a fitness center, entertainment suite, clubroom, amenity deck, and dog run.
The project’s S-shaped building design creates two distinct courtyards, each tailored to different resident experiences:
- Eastern Courtyard – yoga lawn, grilling stations, and tranquil seating for quiet gatherings.
- Western Courtyard – swimming pool, spa, lawn games, bonfire pits, and social spaces.
Set against challenging site topography, the project showcases innovative solutions like a multistory parking structure seamlessly integrated into a steep slope. Elevated views of treetops and bold architectural elements further distinguish this community.
