A new 48,000-square-foot grocery store is now open in Minnetrista’s Woodland Cove neighborhood, serving as the anchor of a thoughtfully planned 30-acre commercial development. The project was designed to bring essential services closer to the growing community and improve access to shopping and amenities in a walkable, welcoming setting.
DBS Group led the project’s design and construction, bringing their vision for the site to life, focusing on quality, functionality, and community benefit. Sambatek was proud to partner with them, providing engineering, surveying, planning, and landscape architecture services to support the full development scope.
Sambatek helped guide the project through the entitlement and permitting process, created detailed site and stormwater plans, and delivered a comprehensive landscape design that integrates functionality and beauty.
As we celebrate Landscape Architecture Month, we’re especially proud of this site’s green elements, using native grasses and forbs to reduce watering needs, pedestrian-friendly paths, preserved trees, and the use of berming to create relief across an essentially flat site.
With collaboration at every step, Mackenthun’s Development reflects our commitment to building places that serve people today and into the future.
