Sirish Samba is the President and CEO of Sambatek, bringing more than 30 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering. Since joining the firm in 1994, Sirish has helped shape Sambatek’s growth, vision, and culture. He became CEO and majority shareholder in 2009 and has continued to lead the company into new markets and geographies while keeping a strong focus on clients, people, and practical solutions.

Known for his technical knowledge and approachable communication style, Sirish has led complex municipal infrastructure projects and has a gift for making technical information clear and understandable for clients, stakeholders, and the public. His leadership reflects Sambatek’s commitment to quality work, strong relationships, and steady growth.

Sirish holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Nagarjuna University in India. He has also completed executive finance programs through the Carlson School of Management and the Wharton School. Outside of Sambatek, Sirish has been active in the engineering and business community through leadership roles with the Engineering Education Foundation of America, ACEC/MN, the Allina Foundation, and ICOC/MN.
