Minnetonka, MN – Sambatek is pleased to announce the addition of Noah Schmidt, PE, as Roadway Group Lead for the Minnesota Public Group. Noah brings 10 years of civil and structural engineering experience, with a strong focus on transportation infrastructure, roadway design, project management, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
Noah joins Sambatek with extensive experience supporting state and county transportation projects, including MnDOT interchange improvements, urban reconstruction projects, pedestrian bridge replacements, and complex roadway corridors. His background includes roadway design, structural design, plan production, specifications, cost estimating, quality control, field coordination, and stakeholder collaboration. A licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota, Noah earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University.
Prior to joining Sambatek, Noah served as a civil designer and design lead on a variety of transportation projects across Minnesota. His project experience includes the Washington Street – TH 210 Reconstruction in Brainerd, CSAH 33 Reconstruction in Elk River, Austin Pedestrian Bridge Replacement, I-90 Austin Bridges, TH 169 Redefine, and I-494 Vision. These projects involved full roadway reconstruction, interchange improvements, roundabouts, pedestrian access upgrades, utility coordination, staging, and complex corridor planning.

As Roadway Group Lead, Noah will help guide the planning, design, and delivery of roadway and transportation projects while supporting Sambatek’s continued growth in transportation engineering. He is passionate about delivering roadway solutions that improve safety, mobility, and community connectivity, and he values the opportunity to help younger staff grow in their careers.
