Bailey Nurseries’ groundbreaking marked the start of a phased redevelopment along Bailey Road. The broader 184-acre plan spans Newport, Woodbury, and Maplewood and includes housing, retail, business park space, and public recreation areas. Development will move forward in phases as roads and utilities are extended.
In Newport, the first phase includes two industrial buildings, an apartment community, and a convenience store. Bringing those uses together requires coordination across the site and with the surrounding infrastructure.
Sambatek is providing engineering, surveying, planning, and landscape architecture services to help Bailey Nurseries and its partners plan the site and prepare the property for phased redevelopment.
