Fall career fair season is here, and Sambatek is hitting the road! This fall, we’ll be visiting campuses across Minnesota, North Dakota, North Carolina, and Virginia to meet students, talk about careers in the AEC industry, and share what it’s like to work at Sambatek.
Our teams work on projects that help communities grow and keep people moving, from transportation and infrastructure improvements to land development, surveying, and construction. Career fairs give us a chance to meet the next generation of engineers, surveyors, and problem-solvers who may one day be part of those projects.

UMD STEM-Fest Career Fair

Location: Kirby Student Center Ballroom & Rafters and Swenson Civil Engineering High Bay Lab, University of Minnesota Duluth
STEM-Fest brings together UMD students and employers from engineering, science, mathematics, data, computer science, and other STEM fields. It’s a great opportunity to learn about internships and full-time positions and start making connections for the future.

North Dakota State University Fall Career Expo

The NDSU Fall Career Expo brings together students and more than 250 employers from a variety of industries. Students can explore internships, co-ops, and full-time opportunities while getting to know companies from across the region and beyond.

NC State University ASCEND Career Fair

Hosted by Advocates for Student Communities through Engagement, Networking and Development (ASCEND), formerly known as WMEP, this event brings students and employers together for networking in a more informal setting. University of St. Thomas – Meet the Engineers

Meet the Engineers flips the traditional career fair format around. Students are stationed at tables while employers make the rounds to meet them. It’s a fun way for engineering students to share their experiences, interests, and goals while connecting with companies seeking future interns and employees.

Location: Coffman Memorial Union, University of Minnesota Twin Cities
Hosted by the University of Minnesota ASCE Student Group, this career fair is focused on civil engineering, environmental engineering, geoengineering, and related fields. It’s a great chance for students interested in transportation, infrastructure, land development, and other areas of civil engineering to meet industry professionals and learn more about potential career paths.
