Sambatek is pleased to announce and welcome the addition of Jeff Ostrom as Director of Public Services. Jeff has 15 years of professional experience spanning the public, private and non-profit sectors.
As a key member of the Sambatek Senior Leadership Team, Jeff will participate in long and short-term planning and implementation of Sambatek’s strategy and business objectives to drive organizational success. Jeff will provide our public clients with direction and guidance regarding projects, tasks, processes, and operations.
In his role at Sambatek, Jeff will support a collaborative environment where the team can continue to grow and thrive while creating opportunities for one another. He will support project teams to identify solutions for clients, ensuring successful project delivery.
Combined with his extensive client and stakeholder engagement background, Jeff strongly understands the importance of communication and collaboration in the project pursuit and development process.

Jeff spent the last eight years at KLJ Engineering, serving in different roles from Business Development Manager/Office Manager to Vice President of Sales. He played a significant role in starting KLJ’s Saint Paul office and growing it to more than 60 staff. Jeff also played a key role in developing clients and working with county, city, and state clients in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Before working at KLJ, Jeff spent more than two years at MnDOT in the Commissioner’s Office to further MnDOT’s strategic initiatives and support the department’s marketing and communications efforts.
Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from St. John’s University. He is a former board member for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC/MN), a current ACEC Political Fund member, and Minnesota Surveyors and Engineers Society (MSES) member.
