Sambatek planned and designed Shenandoah Drive as a part of the Master Planned Canterbury Commons development at Canterbury Park in Shakopee. Shenandoah Drive is a multi-phase $30 million TIF-funded public infrastructure improvement project at Canterbury Park. Sambatek services included development of the preliminary roadway alignment, construction inspection, and construction staking. Shenandoah Drive is a two-lane urban roadway with generous landscape boulevards, a landscaped median, and two landscaped roundabouts that create a focal point for the entrance to Canterbury Park and the Triple Crown luxury apartments. Improvements also included sanitary sewer, watermain, and regional stormwater ponding and conveyance facilities.
